The Final Rose
Based off the title of my post, can anyone tell that I just watched the season finale of “The Bachelor”?! Just in cased you missed it, it was the “the most dramatic season yet.” Haha, that fence jump though!! Anyway, I’m so happy Colton and Cassie found love and that they are taking it one day at a time! I love helping each couple tell their story through their wedding invitation suite.
Creating my wedding invitations was the most meaningful brand project I have ever designed. When brainstorming elements for my invitations I wanted to incorporate elements that were meaningful to both Nick and I. We both love the color red, but we didn’t want the red to be too over powering for our wedding colors. We decided to select a rich dusty rose color that was perfect for a fall wedding in November. We decided to add unique touches like a wax seal and hand calligraphy to the invitation and envelope to convey the elegance we were trying to create in our wedding aesthetic. We used traditional elements such as, an inner and outer envelope, and a monogram. Our guests appreciated the high quality of paper and formality of the presentation. It was very rewarding for all the hard work we had put into design and production.
