“Love is Magic”
The shower suite included flower details which hinted at the floral decor to be used for the couples wedding day, but designed thoughtfully without giving away too much!

Wedding Invitations
“The Final Rose”
The couple had a significant connection to roses, elegance, and tradition. The bride and groom wanted to incorporate roses not only for their romantic significance, but to symbolize their love for each another. It did help, though, that the groom went to a university that was known to be called by the name of Rose.

To add a personal touch, PDP created a custom embossed monogram for the couple combining their last name initials & crest. Not only was their monogram used on the invitation, but also as an elegant wax seal to secure the envelope through mail. In addition, the wax seal was incorporated into custom escort cards for the wedding.

The invitation was two color (black and dusty rose) letterpress and the suite used hand calligraphy throughout, along with calligraphy addressing on the inner and outer envelopes. Crane’s Lettra (cotton paper) was used throughout the entire suite.

“As You Wish!”
Some may recognize this beloved couple from the eighties film, “The Princess Bride” about a beautiful young woman and her one true love. This wedding suite is inspired by the novel and film, and showcases the couple and other stars of the feature. Throughout the suite there are key elements and symbols that are well known to the fictional country of Florin.
The main invitation highlights a deckle edge, Buttercup’s crown, and a custom watercolor illustration that pieces together multiple iconic landscapes from the film. The details card features a floral watercolor border in addition to a deckle edge. The watercolor illustration creates a dreamy, whimsical, and romantic feel. The deckle edge creates softness.

The shiny outer envelope features vintage stamps with digital addressing. The vintage stamps add another unique element to give a period appropriate feel. The use of the mask gives a playful take on the RSVP card. To enclose all pieces of the suite a velvet ribbon is used.
